WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA (August 23, 2010)- Cydcor, the dominant leader of outsourced face-to-face sales, recently held its annual R&R Owners Weekend event at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. R&R Owners Weekend is an appreciation event for key personnel of the independently owned sales offices they support throughout the United States and Canada. While the event had an element of business, the primary focus was rest, relaxation, and networking between peers.

“The owners of the independently -owned sales offices and their teams work extremely hard in the field. From the blazing sun in California to the snow storms of Toronto, our offices are committed to being the face-to-face sales force our clients need to generate sales in their markets,” said Vera Quinn, senior vice president of sales and operation. “R&R Owners Weekend thanks them for their commitment to being the dominant leader in outsourced face-to-face sales in North America and around the world.”

This year’s event welcomed more than 600 attendees to the glamorous, luxurious, and historical Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel. Showcasing Cydcor’s dedication to charitable organizations, the 3rd Annual Charity Tournament was held – this year, the organization supported was Operation Smile, an international children’s medical charity treating facial deformities such as cleft lips and cleft palates all around the world. Teams paid a $100 entry fee to play in the tournament and collectively $1,600 was raised and donated.

“The need for quality cleft care is urgent; there are so many children around the world who desperately need our help,” said Dr. Bill Magee, Founder and CEO of Operation Smile. “We are grateful for the generosity of our supporters and volunteers. It is only with their help that we can continue to give new smiles and transform the lives of our patients.”

Attendees enjoyed a weekend full of themed dinners, private group pool cabanas, ocean kayaks, banana boat rides, bocce ball, and ping-pong. The weekend culminated with a “Havana Nights” theme dinner, where they participated in a customized “Minute to Win It” and had a chance to win cash prizes.

“We want our offices to know that their contributions over this past year are recognized and appreciated,” said Gary Polson, CEO at Cydcor. “We hope that this weekend of rest and relaxation showed our gratitude for their hard work and dedication.”

Leading global provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams ranks #4 among mid-sized companies for employee benefits and philanthropic opportunities

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (August 13, 2010) – Cydcor, the leading provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams, was named among the “Best Places to Work” by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal for the third year in a row and ranked #4 for area mid-sized companies (25 to 249 employees).

The Business Journal and Best Companies Group worked together to identify and recognize area companies with a strong commitment to workplace excellence. Both publicly and privately held organizations were selected based on benefits, corporate philanthropy, policies, work-life balance, internal working conditions, local management, satisfaction, camaraderie and support of employees’ personal growth. Selections were based on company surveys and employee comments.

“We’re honored to be recognized as one of the area’s Best Places to Work for a third year,” said Gary Polson, chief executive officer of Cydcor. “Cydcor is committed to rewarding its employees – who continue to deliver exceptional results for clients, and at the same time, make positive contributions in their communities through philanthropic work.”

Cydcor was specifically recognized for a supportive work environment and culture, volunteer opportunities, quality and commitment of management, and benefits.

Team members are eligible for benefits in the month following their hire date. Beginning in their first year, each employee receives 15 days of sick and vacation time. Team members can also occasionally arrange to work from home. Cydcor provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), including mental health counseling and referrals, wellness and smoking cessation programs. Cydcor also provides supplemental life insurance, a Flexible Spending Account, a Dependent Care Spending Account, and Franklin Covey Time Management System training for all new hires. In order to maintain open communication between company leaders and team members, Cydcor provides a suggestion box, open-door policy, employee surveys and organizational newsletters.

Cydcor puts a large emphasis on corporate philanthropy. The Cydcor Cares program provides team members with eight volunteer hours a year to work together and puts them in touch with with low to no-cost charitable opportunities that they can participate in individually or as an organized group activity. This past year, the company kicked off its new Cydcor Cares program with a reading fair that took place at the Boys and Girls Club. More than 500 team members from offices throughout the country also dedicated nearly 300 hours to local communities through charity and volunteer work – helping more than 28 organizations through Cydcor’s Neighborhood Leader Program. Additionally, Cydcor made a donation to the Intrepid Museum Foundation’s Sea, Air & Space Museum in honor of Board Member Dan Frederickson’s service in the U.S. Marines. Earlier this year, Cydcor donated clothing, shoes, and first aid supplies to earthquake survivors in Haiti through Haiti Gospel Mission.

Leading global provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams continues its dedication to local community with new program

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (July 22, 2010) – Cydcor, the leading provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams, announced that it kicked off its new Cydcor Cares Program with a reading fair that took place at the Boys and Girls Club in Thousand Oaks, California. During the event, Cydcor team members read to children from kindergarten to fourth-grade ages while dressed up as memorable fictional characters.

Local independent used bookstore, The Bookaneer, donated bags of children’s books to the event, which team members will read to the children and display for them to browse. Eight team members from Cydcor participated in the event, volunteering in areas including reading, acting out scenes from books, and coordinating the flow of the event.

“We believe that community involvement is a collaborative effort,” said Gary Polson, CEO of Cydcor. “The vision of this program is to create real service opportunities for individuals as well as group team member participation. At Cydcor, our goal is to live up to the Behaviors We Value by giving back to the community.”

Cydcor Cares enables team members to work together and use the eight volunteer hours that Cydcor offers to all team members yearly. Additionally, the Cydcor Cares program, offered quarterly, puts local and remote team members in direct contact with low to no-cost charitable opportunities that they can participate in individually or as an organized group activity. It also provides team members with an opportunity to support causes and organizations that are important to them.

The Cydcor Cares Program was created on the heels of Cydcor’s Neighborhood Leader Program, which provides an opportunity to Cydcor’s network of independent sales offices to donate to their local communities through charity and volunteer work. Since inception, the sales offices have dedicated almost 300 hours and helped more than 28 organizations.

“We’re thrilled that Cydcor selected the Boys and Girls Club for their event and look forward to a day filled with fun and learning,” said Georgi Harden, director of the Boys and Girls Club of Thousand Oaks. “It’s a great opportunity for the children and further demonstrates the wide array of programs we have available.”

“I think it’s wonderful that a local company has made it a priority to give back to their local community and provide such a great program to children,” said Tracey Benedict, owner of The Bookaneer. “I was more than happy to donate all that I could – I know that the program will be a huge success.”

Future plans for the Cydcor Cares Program include participation in environmental impact programs, food kitchens, community bake sales, tutoring, and business building programs given by team members in areas including interview skills, resume building, and career coaching.

About the Boys and Girls Clubs of Conejo and Las Virgenes
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo & Las Virgenes was formed to serve the more than 30,000 young people of our communities, providing them with excellent, time-tested programs that offer leadership training, character development, and programs in the arts, sports and fitness.
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (July 7, 2010) – Cydcor, the leading provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams, has announced that the company’s internal program available to its network of independent Cydcor sales offices, the Neighborhood Leader Program, has reached significant milestones. To date, more than 500 team members from the various sales offices throughout the United States have dedicated almost 300 hours to their local communities through charity and volunteer work – helping more than 28 organizations.

Through the Neighborhood Leader Program, the network of nearly 200 independent Cydcor sales offices located across the United States and Canada are given financial sponsorships and encouraged to donate their time and talent to non-profit, charitable organizations in their communities. Cydcor provides a contribution match to help support the volunteer effort. Each independent Cydcor office is eligible to take advantage of the Neighborhood Leader Program once annually.

“It’s amazing to see how so many of our independently-owned sales offices have donated their time and energy to working with local organizations and providing them with much-needed support,” said Gary Polson, CEO of Cydcor. “These mid-year results are astounding and pacing faster with even more momentum compared to last year. This truly showcases determination, drive, and dedication – characteristics that Cydcor prides itself on.”

Organizations helped in various local communities through the Neighborhood Leader Program include the Lupus Alliance of America, Feed the Children, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Make-a-Wish, Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, Project Bread, the Boys & Girls Club, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the American Cancer Society, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the March of Dimes, and a number of food banks and animal rescues and sanctuaries.

To further demonstrate dedication to the Cydcor Community, the company recently formed a new program, Cydcor Cares, which will enable internal employees to band together and use their eight allotted volunteer hours that Cydcor offers on a yearly basis. The Cydcor Cares first event will take place at the Thousand Oaks Boys and Girls Club, where Cydcor team members will read to children from kindergarten to fourth-grade age.

Leading global provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales challenges Ventura County corporations to a battle of the fittest during the corporate games.

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (June 14, 2010) – Team members from Cydcor, the leading provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams, reigned victorious during the 21st annual Ventura Corporate Games, taking home four gold medals and one bronze. The six-week competition featured 66 companies from Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, divided into four divisions, that battled it out in a series of sporting events.

Cydcor team members were up for the challenge, competing in 15 different games including basketball, table tennis, lazertag, kick ball, and dominoes. The flag football team beat out some tough competition during a three game tournament, scoring 34-28 in the final game overtime victory that saw them take home the gold.

Cydcor’s men’s basketball team was also victorious, beating out last year’s rival and champion, the Ventura County District Attorney’s office, and thus securing another gold medal. Other Cydcor gold medal victories were seen in Texas Hold’em and Spades.

“The basketball win was ‘poetic justice’ and was due in part to the support received by Cydcor community team members,” said Team Coordinator Joel Daniels.

The games, however, aren’t just about winning medals. Volunteerism, sportsmanship and team spirit are the overarching objectives of participating. The Corporate Games honors teams that participate in community service activities such as beach cleanup and Habitat for Humanity. In addition, skill and teamwork is also demonstrated during the photo, t-shirt design and sand sculpture contests.

“The competition is not just about being the best at each event. It’s about teamwork, having fun, rooting for others, and being part of a community of local businesses participating in friendly competition,” said Corporate Games Community Services Director, Elena Brokaw.”

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (June 3, 2010) – Cydcor, the leading provider of face-to-face sales teams, has donated $1,000 to the Intrepid Museum Foundation’s Sea, Air & Space Museum in honor of Board Member Dan Frederickson’s service in the U.S. Marines.

Frederickson served in the Marines from 1968 to 1970. He was a Sergeant (E-5) after 18 months service, including a year in Vietnam.

New York City’s Fleet Week honored the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps over Memorial Day weekend. As part of the celebrations, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum honored America’s veterans at its “Salute to Freedom Dinner,’’ which was sponsored by Credit Suisse.

“Cydcor is proud to support the Intrepid Museum Foundation on behalf of our country’s veterans, and especially one of our own,” said Chief Executive Officer Gary Polson. “This donation is a gesture of our deepest appreciation of those who serve in the U.S. military. We honor them for their personal sacrifice to protect our freedom and value the leadership skills, teamwork, and integrity built and fostered by the military.”

Attendees included global dignitaries, business leaders and personnel from each branch of the Armed Forces. The dinner, held at the floating museum at Pier 86 on Manhattan’s West Side in New York City, saluted not only great leaders, but also U.S. troops.

Donations to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will support the Museum’s educational programs, exhibit development, space shuttle campaign, and other initiatives that allow the Museum to fulfill its mission to honor heroes, educate the public, and inspire youth.
