Cydcor gives back

Cydcor is proud to have a corporate culture that gives back to its community, and has formed alliances with several local non-profits to help those who are in need, one of which is Casa Pacifica.

Casa Pacifica

Casa Pacifica serves abused, neglected and severe emotionally disturbed children and adolescents from the Tri-County areas of Southern California.  They offer residential treatment, emergency shelter care, assessments, educational programs, family support, medical services, psychiatric/psychological treatment and a variety of community-based interventions to children and their families.

Cydcor began its partnership with Casa Pacifica in 2007, when a team of 60 employees worked in their new warehouse to unload unloading storage units filled with donations from the communities and organized items based on age and gender. In December 2007, Cydcor held a toy drive and delivered a mini-van full of toys to Casa Pacifica, helping to brighten the holiday season for more than 360 children and their families.

In early 2008, Cydcor employees donated their time to unload more donations and organized clothing by size to help staff locate appropriate items for children more quickly.

As part of Cydcor’s initiative to give back to the community, Cydcor also presented a $2,500 check to the non-profit organization.
“Cydcor has been committed to helping our organization in whatever way they can,” said Vicki Murphy, director of development and operations for Casa Pacifica. “Having the support of businesses like Cydcor is invaluable for us to further our mission and develop brighter futures for children of this community.”
