Life Guard
Gerardo Racine, Data Analyst at Cydcor, used his Volunteer Day to support a local elementary school in Thousand Oaks, Calif. Gerardo says he enjoys helping the school’s many activities. On this particular day, students were taken on an annual “End of School” field trip to Water Park in Lake Casitas.
Gerardo served as a life guard during the event and made sure that everyone was safe by following the rules of the park. “I think that participation is always the key. When the children see your involvement in their activities they feel valued and appreciated,” said Gerardo.
