What do you do at Cydcor?

I work as a National Account Manager on the campaign team for a major VoIP provider. I work with the Senior National Account Manager to help manage the campaign and deliver stellar results on behalf of our client.

What makes Cydcor Special?

The reason I joined when I was an intern, and why I returned full-time, was the incredible people I work with. I held two separate internships for Cydcor in different departments, before I became a full-time employee. Having worked in multiple departments, I feel lucky to have collaborated with many different people in varying roles.

How has working at Cydcor helped you grow?

My work interacting with the independent sales teams has helped me grow and gain a better understanding of our business. I worked on a business-to-business pilot program, and I am currently working in the field to provide support to our independent business owners and their sales teams. To be of service to the sales representatives, I needed to understand what they are faced with on a daily basis, and the best way to do that was to try it myself. At first, I was uncomfortable going from business to business pitching products and services to people that I have never met. However, learning the systems and working through a lot of rejection has helped me grow.

What is your favorite part of working at Cydcor?

One of my favorite parts of working at Cydcor is the focus on personal development. From team building activities to weekly one-on-ones, I am constantly pushed to be better. I rarely have to reach out for help, because it is constantly offered. And when I do reach out to someone, they usually stop what they are doing and help me in any way they can – that says a lot about the type of people in our office.

What do you love about the business?

I love the culture and environment of the business. It attracts competitive people, and we all make the people around us better. My colleagues and I challenge each other on a daily basis. This drive to push our boundaries and grow carries into everything we do, from our day-to-day work, to Operation Smile fundraising, to team activities.
