How Cydcor Works

How does Cydcor work?

Cydcor manages the client relationship, campaign design, compliance oversight, and performance monitoring. Independently owned sales companies are responsible for recruiting and training their sales representatives as well as the day-to-day field execution, bringing localized market knowledge and entrepreneurial drive to every campaign.

How do field sales teams work?

Field sales representatives meet customers face-to-face at their homes, in retail environments, at their businesses, and at events after receiving training on your product and brand guidelines from the independently owned sales companies in Cydcor’s network . They have personalized, real conversations that build trust and drive conversions in ways digital channels often can't replicate.

How long does it take to launch a campaign?

Cydcor is known for being agile. Most campaigns launch within a few weeks to just a few months because the sales network and compliance infrastructure already exist. Simple products with straightforward offers launch faster, while complex products requiring specialized work may need additional preparation time.

What is Cydcor's relationship with independent sales companies?

Cydcor gives clients access to an expansive network of independently owned and operated sales companies, backed by the infrastructure to design, manage, and scale face-to-face sales campaigns. Cydcor holds the client relationship, managing campaign design, compliance oversight, and performance reporting throughout the partnership.

The sales companies in the network are independent businesses that operate under a contractual agreement with Cydcor. They recruit, train, and compensate their own people. Cydcor has no ownership in these sales companies . This structure is what allows Cydcor to scale quickly across markets for its clients.

What is a customer acquisition partner?

A customer acquisition partner manages finding and converting new customers on behalf of your brand. Instead of building internal teams, you work with an organization, like Cydcor, that designs your campaign, deploys it through its network, and delivers tracking metrics. At the same time, you maintain control over strategy and brand standards.

How are clients supported?

Cydcor supports clients through dedicated campaign teams who understand the complexity of running a face-to-face sales program from start to finish. Campaign teams help define objectives and KPIs, tailor the approach to each client's unique needs, track performance, and provide ongoing communication to stakeholders. Cydcor leverages deep territory knowledge and the breadth of the network to drive efficient market coverage so clients can focus on their core business, not the complexity of managing a national sales program.

How does Cydcor measure success?

We measure success by our ability to deliver results for our clients. We gain an understanding of client opportunities and needs, and then design campaigns executed through our network. We measure, monitor, and communicate performance and evolve and iterate with clients' needs as they change.

How does Cydcor handle compliance and brand protection?

Cydcor's sales quality teams continuously monitor campaigns. When concerns arise, they are addressed promptly.  Independent sales companies are responsible for ensuring their representatives meet client standards before engaging with customers.

Field Sales Representatives

Does Cydcor set compensation for field sales reps?

No. Compensation for field sales reps is determined solely by the independently owned sales companies that engage them. Cydcor does not employ or retain the field sales reps and does not set or administer pay for field representatives. Additionally, Cydcor requires that the independently owned sales companies comply with all applicable laws.

Is there a base salary or hourly pay for field reps?

Compensation structures vary by campaign type and the independent sales company running it. Many companies operating door-to-door campaigns choose a commission-based compensation structure, where pay is based entirely on performance, with no cap on earnings but also no guaranteed hourly or salaried wage. Other companies, including those on retail or event campaigns, may structure pay differently such as by offering a sales draw, hourly wages or a base rate. For specific compensation details, contact the independent sales company directly. 

Can someone grow their career in the outsourced sales field?

Yes. Many individuals start in entry-level roles and work their way up to managing or even owning an independent sales company. The industry tends to reward performance, leadership, and drive over tenure or titles.

Does Cydcor provide training or support to field reps?

Cydcor provides resources, brand compliance materials, and quality assurance systems to the independent companies. Field-level training is delivered by those companies, not Cydcor directly.

Why have I seen questions about Cydcor online?

Cydcor's business model — outsourced, face-to-face sales through a network of independently owned and operated sales companies — is sometimes misunderstood by those unfamiliar with how outsourced sales works. Some confuse it with MLM (multi-level marketing) or pyramid scheme structures, which it is not. Others may have had an experience with an independent sales company that didn't meet their expectations. Cydcor takes feedback seriously and is committed to continuous improvement. What remains consistent is a business model built on real sales results, no pay-to-play requirements, and client relationships that have spanned decades.

Is Cydcor an MLM or a pyramid scheme?

No. Cydcor is not an MLM or pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes are illegal structures where earnings come from recruitment rather than real sales. MLMs require participants to purchase inventory and build downlines. Cydcor operates completely differently: independently owned sales companies sell or market client products directly to end customers, earn compensation tied to actual sales or performance, and don't pay fees or purchase inventory to operate. There is no income from recruiting others, and there is no pay-to-play model.
