Here We Grow Again 2014 Update - 11/4/14

Can you believe it? Cydcor has three weeks until our scheduled move date of Friday November 21st! Last week the carpet and furniture installation started. Rooms are being painted, desks and furniture are being brought in. Looking at the pictures the black frames are the structures for the cubicle workstations.

Here We Grow Again 2014

Cydcor is growing! The build out crew in our new space has been hard at work and they have made considerable progress! Take a look at the pictures and you’ll see that the framing for most offices and the hallways is close to completion. The next steps were wiring in the office walls and drywall – exciting!

The offices that are along the internal wall have been constructed so there is now clear division. A lot of work has been done on the lobby. The ceiling and walls have been opened up so that the staircase can be built. First, the construction crew needs to put in large heavy steel beams for support.

There has been so much progress made in the past two weeks. The glass frames have been installed for each office and all walls are up and prepped for painting.

The lobby is completely opened up and the staircase is nearing completion. In just two and a half short weeks furniture and fixtures will start being delivered and placed.

Cydcor To Move Into Larger Corporate Headquarters

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., May 16, 2014 -- Cydcor, the leading provider of professional in-person sales teams, announced the company will be moving to a new location to continue serving its thriving network of independently-owned sales offices and significant internal growth.

Cydcor's new 40,000 square foot headquarters will be located in Agoura Hills, California, and be double the size of their current location in Westlake Village. The new building will have a Silicon Valley look and many outdoor spaces exclusive to the company. It will host a collaborative and open landscape that accents Cydcor's corporate culture of collaboration, teamwork, and innovation.

"Cydcor was able to double the size of their footprint while maintaining the ability to remain on one floor," said Bryan Lewitt, Senior Vice President for brokerage firm CBRE. "Additionally, the new location's amenities include free covered parking, balconies, an atrium, and building top signage."

The new headquarters is also conveniently located near the U.S. 101 freeway, providing easy access to clients, sales office visits, and new hires from Los Angeles and Ventura counties. The new expansion and space will help support Cydcor's clients and tremendous network of independently-owned sales offices across the country.

"We have doubled in size since we moved to our current location five years ago – demonstrating how we consistently fulfill a unique niche for our clients and provide service to our field offices," said CEO Gary Polson. "Cydcor's growth is consistent, strategic and deliberate, and our business is resilient to the varying economic climates."

This is Cydcor's third move in just more than ten years. Cydcor started with about 2,900 square feet in 2001. In 2005, Cydcor started knocking down walls to gain and additional 6,800 square feet, and then again by adding a separate suite for another 2,000 square feet in 2007. In early 2009, they moved to the current location in Westlake Park Place, a 27-acre campus style office development, where they occupy the entire fourth floor with 19,000 square feet.

Cydcor Participates in second medical mission for Operation Smile

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., April 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cydcor, the leading provider of professional in-person sales teams, raised and contributed funds for Operation Smile, a children's medical charity that provides life-changing surgeries to children internationally born with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities.

Their donation helped to fund a recent medical mission to San Cristobal, Mexico, which took place in March with five top fundraisers from Cydcor and the company's network of independently-owned offices. This year's mission came on the heels of the 2012 mission to Rio de Janeiro. During the Mexicomedical mission, 99 patients were operated on and 125 procedures were performed.

"Having our friends from Cydcor with us was an exceptional addition to the experience. Each participant showed true passion for all aspects of the events taking place, from helping and playing with the children and engaging with families, to taking a hands-on role in setting up for the medical mission," saidCourtney Kass, Operation Smile development officer. In 2013, Cydcor and their network of offices held the first-ever "Day of Smiles," which raised approximately $100,000 for the organization – surpassing their$90,000 goal. It was the single largest fundraising effort that helped to fund the medical mission to Mexico.

Cydcor Heads to the Corporate Games for Operation Smile

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., April 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cydcor, the leading provider of professional in-person sales teams, announced that the company is working with the Ventura Corporate Games to raise funds for Operation Smile, a children's medical charity that provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities for children around the globe.

Cydcor and its network of independently-owned sales offices have been actively fundraising for Operation Smile since 2010 and have currently raised enough for two medical missions - one to Rio De Janeiro and the other to Mexico.

This year will be the sixth year in a row that Cydcor is participating in the Corporate Games, which are held in Ventura, California. Cydcor is a two-time winner of the JD Probasco Spirit Award, 2013 Division-C winner and proud sponsor of the Corporate Games.

For the first time, Cydcor will be sponsoring the game of "Corn Hole," which will raise funds for Operation Smile. The Corn Hole games will now be a Team Unity Award event with championship matches held during Closing Ceremonies on May 10. Corporate Games participants can enter the finals by attending one of the below qualifiers:

  • April 12-13 at Camino Real Park from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • April 26-27 at Barranca Vista Park from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • May 3-4 at Camino Real Park from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • May 10 at Harbor Cove Beach from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

"We're committed to fundraising until we reach our third goal of another medical mission," said Vera Quinn, chief operating officer. "The team members at Cydcor enjoy the Corporate Games. There are three steps for teams to qualify for the Corn Hole championships on May 10:

  1. Pick a qualifying tournament listed above, show up, and play.
  2. Make a donation and play a match against another company or use the Qualifier Tournaments to select the team that will represent your company (divisions don't matter).
  3. Turn in your match scores to Cydcor to qualify your team for the Corn Hole Championships on May 10th at Corporate Games Closing Ceremonies.

Cydcor Donates 114 Gifts to Children at EARTHS Magnet School

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--Cydcor, the leading provider of in-person sales teams, announced that team members recently donated 114 gifts to children at nearby EARTHS Magnet School. “Being able to give them presents – ones they really wanted – is a great feeling for all of us.”

Cydcor team members regularly volunteer time on a weekly basis to children at the school and wanted to make their holiday season one to remember. The 51 team members each picked a child’s “wish tag” on Cydcor’s Christmas tree and purchased the gift or gift card requested for the individual child.

Last week, several team members personally delivered the gifts to the school, including one who dressed up like Santa Claus. Gifts ranged from clothing and shoes to toys and the gift cards. The children were all between the ages of five and eleven years old.

“Everyone at Cydcor was so excited to help these kids have an awesome holiday,” said Chief Operating Officer Vera Quinn. “Being able to give them presents – ones they really wanted – is a great feeling for all of us.”

In November, Cydcor team members also donated Thanksgiving dinners to the EARTHS families and plans to continue volunteering and giving back for years to come.
