Cydcor Finishes 2008 Strong and Optimistic

Leading global provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams experiences steady client retention and expansion despite down economy

Cydcor, the leading provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams, announced today that the company ended 2008 strong and optimistic for 2009. In the past year, Cydcor celebrated two distinguished awards, client retention and acquisition, active philanthropic programs and a brand-new headquarters as the company prepares for continued expansion.

“We are incredibly proud of what Cydcor has accomplished this year,” said Gary Polson, chief executive officer of Cydcor. “We’ve increased our sales force and diversified our client base; and in 2009, we’ll continue to be able to offer our clients a unique opportunity to grow their businesses in this difficult economy.”

Through its 200 independent sales offices in 36 states and Canadian provinces, Cydcor’s made millions of face-to-face sales calls on behalf of its clients, factoring into one of the company’s best-years in terms of sales generated for its clients, which include at&t, Verizon, Quill, Intuit, and Pinnacle Security.

Early this year, Cydcor moved into Conejo Valley’s Westlake Park Place, a new 27-acre campus style office development. Occupying the entire 4th floor with nearly 20,000 square feet, Cydcor’s new space is almost twice the size of its past headquarters.

For the 7th year in a row, the company has earned at&t’s top honors for sales performance results. at&t’s 1st Place Solution Provider Excellence 2008 Diamond Award celebrates Cydcor and its independently-owned corporate licensees (ICLs) serving at&t consumer, retail and business-to-business campaigns.

In 2008, Cydcor was named among the “Best Places to Work” by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal and ranked #10 for area mid-sized companies. The Business Journal recognized area companies with a strong commitment to workplace excellence based on benefits, corporate philanthropy, policies, work-life balance, camaraderie and support of employees’ personal growth.

Cydcor believes in the rewards that follow hard work and dedication by its employees and this summer, Cydcor sent company leaders and owners of each independently-owned corporate licensee (ICL) to the Grand Bahama Island. The Cydcor sponsored retreat, R&R Owners’ Weekend, comprised a blend of business, social functions, entertainment and relaxation at the Westin Our Lucaya.

The company hosted Business Building Blocks, a weekend filled with philanthropic and training activities for soon-to-be office owners and chose to sponsor the Boys & Girls Club of Venice. As part of the weekend, Cydcor team members and executives volunteered at the annual Westside Champion of Youth Dinner & Auction, an annual fundraising event. The dinner was a great success, exceeding last year’s earnings and raising $150,000 for the cause.

Cydcor continued to promote corporate philanthropy in 2008. The company launched Cydcor Cares’ Volunteer Day and Neighborhood Leaders Program, both of which are internal programs to encourage team members to become more involved in their local communities and volunteer their time to charity, occasionally during work hours. Cydcor and its employees made a donation and sent supplies to the Andinet International School in Ethiopia, where a past employee taught art and English to impoverished children. Cydcor employees also donated 26 bags of groceries and hygiene products to a Manna-sponsored food drive this fall. Amid an economic downturn that has contributed to rising need, many local food banks are seeing heavier demand during the non-holiday season.

This fall, Cydcor Team members opened their hearts and wallets to help more than 500 Sylmar families who lost their homes in the San Fernando Valley, one of the hardest hit communities. In just one week, Cydcor collected more than 50 bags and boxes of clothes, shoes, bedding, towels and even a video game system – complete with a stand, chairs, TV, game console and a box full of games – from its team members.
