Hundreds of companies from across Los Angeles county participated in a two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles. First, each company was evaluated on workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part was an employee survey to measure the employee experience and was worth 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data and determined the final rankings for the Los Angeles Business Journal.
