Back to Basics was Cydcor's theme for the 2014 Keys to Success conference in San Antonio, Texas last weekend. Cydcor holds the Keys to Success event every year as an annual kick off. The meeting announced awards and promotions for Cydcor team members, and recognized achievers in our network of independently owned sales companies. Cydcor team members and other sales professionals got the opportunity to network and see the sights in San Antonio.
The Back to Basics Conference for Cydcor reviewed what it takes to be successful in the sales and marketing business. Inspirational stories on staying persistent and effective at work was shared across tables and on stage. Guest speakers encouraged sales teams to stick with it, take care of your people and never give up.
Cydcor had a great time in Texas and the team is looking forward to a great year!

Garage Sale Funds Two More Surgeries!
A big thank-you to our team members who volunteered to come out last Saturday for our MEGA Garage sale to raise money for Operation Smile. We raised over $600, which is enough to help two children have a better life by restoring their smile.

The sale took place on Saturday, September 7th from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Earth Elementary School’s basketball courts. Gently used items were donated by Cydcor team members just days before the sale.
Team members that donated items were also eligible for raffle tickets to win a lunch with our CEO, Gary Polson. Volunteers who helped us set up and take down the sale got five tickets! Congratulations to our winner, Miriam Caballero, who also received recognition this week from our Joy Germ Club for spreading the most smiles around the office.
The Cydcor home office has now reached our overall goal of raising $30,000 for Operation Smile. In addition to the sale, we organized a snack bar, wine tasting, movie nights, a karaoke event and more. The $30,000 is part of an overall company goal to fund a $150,000 medical trip overseas. This is the second year in a row that Cydcor has been able to raise over $150,000 for Operation Smile.

It may have been raining, but that didn’t stop 650 attendees at this year’s R&R, held at Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach, from having a great time! On September 20 – 23, sales office owners, their assistant managers, friends, and family relaxed by the beach in the Southern Florida sun.
Some highlights: A cornhole and dodgeball tournament to raise funds for Operation Smile (more than $3,600 was raised and donated!), a neon-themed dinner, and a spectacular pool party. The “Cydcor’s Got Talent” competition was a big hit as well, with winners receiving cash prizes. The first place winner even had $500 donated to Operation Smile under their name! Throughout the weekend, everyone had a chance to rest and relax – Cydcor’s way of recognizing the sales professionals who work hard every day on behalf of our clients. By providing them with a great venue, food, and entertainment, we are able to really recognize their accomplishments and set the pace for next year.

Business Building Blocks (BBB) is a quarterly event designed for our network of sales companies across the country to celebrate and motivate soon-to-be and new owners. The ttendees fly to California for a weekend of sharing, networking, and inspiration. They hear from various speakers about a slew of subjects relating to our business.
During their stay, they also travel to Cydcor’s corporate office, where they meet and mingle with Cydcor’s team members – and the people they’ll be interacting with regularly.
We recently held a BBB and the response to the event was inspiring. A senior leader spoke to the crowd, answering questions and discussing his success. Administrators from two sales companies were also in attendance as guest speakers. Attendees even had the opportunity to have a live QA webcast with two remote company owners about a new bonus available to them.
Here’s to sharing knowledge, networking, and being the best we can be!

We just had more than 280 sales company owners and other business professionals in Canada attend a Canadian Conference that gave them the opportunity to network, attend valuable discussion sessions, and hear from keynote speakers who have been there, done that – and had lots of advice to share.
A representative from a leading Canadian client also spoke to the crowd, talking to them about the sales opportunities and how to address the most challenging aspects of sales. Awards were given out to those who went above and beyond as well. The overall tone of the event was excitement – enthusiasm when it came to networking, sharing new ideas, and being together in one place.
Not only that, but over this past year, Cydcor's network of independent Canadian sales companies has experienced tremendous growth for a leading merchant processing company client. This is big news for the sales companies in the area, as the client has added new products to sell along with various value-added services.
Good for Canada, eh?
Cydcor recently hosted its annual National Conference in Atlanta for more than 1,900 sales professionals across the United States – and the energy and excitement was contagious. Attendees included business owners from Cydcor’s network of independently-owned sales companies, as well as other business professionals.
With the theme of “Go For Gold,” everyone had the opportunity to participate in valuable discussion sessions and heard a presentation from keynote speaker and NCAA wrestling champion Anthony Robles, who spoke about the struggles he overcame to achieve his goals, including being the recipient of the “Jimmy V Award” at the ESPYs. It was also announced that Cydcor and its network of independent sales companies will invited to raise funds once again for Operation Smile, a children’s medical charity. Earlier this year, Cydcor along with the independent sales companies raised $150,000 and were able to sponsor a mission.
Many also received awards for high performance and achievement – and had the honor of getting the recognition in front of their friends and colleagues. A great – and memorable – time was had by all!

Hooray for Hollywood – and our Rising Stars! These up-and-coming top performers from independently-owned offices across North America were invited to our exclusive event, “Rising Stars,” which was held in Hollywood, California. Attendees were selected from among a network of 250 offices and had a chance to participate in a variety of educational classes and workshops that focused on a number of topics. During the weekend, they were treated to a night on the town at a popular bowling hotspot and a dinner at a well-known restaurant, where they had the chance to form powerful business relationships – and have some fun (there were several celebrity sightings!). In late June, more than 1,700 sales representatives and 200-plus office owners from Cydcor’s network of independently-owned sales offices came together at the 2011 U.S. National Conference, held in Nashville, Tennessee. Attendees had an opportunity to attend informative breakout sessions, organizational lunches, and an awards dinner that recognized their hard work and stellar achievements.
Other exciting highlights: A presentation from one of Cydcor’s top clients, who spoke about growth and the quality sales that Cydcor’s independently-owned offices have demonstrated, the “Promoting Owner of the Year” award winner, who received a 2011 Range Rover Sport, and numerous recognitions that were given to top performers across the U.S.
“The client excited the crowd by explaining all of the potential opportunity on his campaign,” said Vera Quinn, chief operations officer. “He comes from a sales background and was rejuvenated by the energy of our people.”
The conference was a great opportunity for sales offices throughout the country to learn, network, and be recognized for their contributions over the past year. Each day, in states across the U.S., they work tirelessly on behalf of Cydcor’s clients, going door-to-door and business-to-business to deliver tremendous results. The exciting, event-filled weekend was just an example of the excitement and passion that each office has for their clients.
